Allene Satterfield Warren

Allene S. Warren, age 88 of Morganton, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 at her home. Mrs.Warren was born September 26, 1927 in Lumpkin, GA. to the late Charlie Satterfield and the late Isabelle Meers Satterfield. A member of Concord Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Satterfield, mother, Isabelle Satterfield, husband, Andrew Jackson Warren, Sr., brothers, William Satterfield, and Ferrell Satterfield, sisters, Mamie Seitz and Velma Williams.

Survivors include: son, Andrew Jackson Warren, Jr., daughters, Linda Dowdy, Barbara (Bart) Taylor, Brenda (Richard) Chastain, Ruth Ann (Lonnie) Waters, brothers, Wendell Satterfield and Robert Satterfield, sisters, Martha Dowdy, Mary Lou Duff, Sharla Faye Seabolt, and Elizabeth Dowdle. Grandchildren, Emily Kuruc, Cindy Hunsiger, Amy Trew, Joey Thompson, Kyle Waters, and Zachery Waters, seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Eric Davenport officiating. Music provided by Bart Taylor and Janie Turner. Interment will follow in the Wilscot Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joey Thompson, Ricky Daves, Russell Daves, Wade McDaris, Wilson Warren and Chuck Taylor.
