Ms. Alice Elizabeth McDaris, age 94, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away December 11, 2009 at Fannin Regional Hospital.
Ms. McDaris was born on May 30, 1915 in Polk Co., TN, to Joe & Nancy Beavers. She was a member of Morganton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Roy "Jack" McDaris, sons, Joseph "Joe" McDaris and John McDaris.
Survivors include: daughter & son in law, Betty Lou & Robert Thomas of Blue Ridge, 12 grandchildren & many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 3:00pm from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Blue Ridge, GA friends may sign the guest register and send their condolences on line at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com .
