Alice Marie Brown

Alice Marie Brown, age 62 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018, in Ashville, NC. Alice was born October 9, 1955, in Atlanta, GA to James L. Brown and Margie Henry Brown. She was a member of Toccoa Baptist Church and a very outgoing person who enjoyed meeting and communicating with people. She liked crocheting, coloring books, loved her cats, and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include: father, James L. Brown, mother, Mary Margie Brown, step-mother, Carolyn Brown, brother, David (Leila) Brown, sister, Lisa Brown (Bruce) Tucker, niece, Betsy (Michael) Rasch, great niece and nephew, Emmett and Eleanore, and niece, Merideth Brown. Funeral services: Monday, February 5, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Dan Wilkins and Rev. Jimmy Ritter officiating. Music provided by Jimmy Ritter. Interment will follow in Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Freddie Ballew, Jimmy Henry, Bruce Tucker, Dan Brown, Nick Goggins and Ricky Dillard.
