The Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces a Memorial Service for Alice Louise Collins, age 87 of Mineral Bluff, Georgia who passed away on Wednesday evening, October 13, 2021.
Mrs. Alice loved her family and traveling. She was a dedicated Air Force wife to her beloved husband John for 59 years. She loved being a mother and loved helping take care of her grandchildren and great grandson, Ricky. She and Mr. John loved taking backroads and traveling all over the world. Mrs. Alice loved her church, Morganton Baptist. She especially loved going to ladies Bible studies and going out to eat. Mrs. Alice was well loved by her family and friends.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: son, John Collins, Jr. of Fossil Butte, WY; daughter, Judith Hill of Mineral Bluff; daughter Joni Davis of Mineral Bluff; and daughter & son-in-law, Jodi Conley & Phil Chandler. Also, sharing in her legacy are grandchildren, Jennifer Davis, Casey Davis, Brandon Brown, and Charlie & Tosha Davis; and great grandchildren, Ricky Davis, Liam Chandler, Alyssa Payne, Ava Payne, Autumn Flyenn, and Eli Ervine. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, John Edwin Collins; parents, Malhon & Louise Woodworth; and brothers, Wesley L. Woodworth and Roland P. Woodworth.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Morganton Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Kincaid officiating. Special music will be provided by the Praise Team. The family will gather with friends from 2 pm until the service begins.
