Epworth, GA --Alice G. Jankauskas, 75, of Epworth, died June 11th, 2011, after a lengthy illness. Alice was born October 8, 1935 in Hudson, NH, the daughter of Paul and Mable Galipeau. Alice was married to Joseph J. Jankauskas also of Hudson for 57 years and raised four children.

Alice owned and operated a rooming house on Hampton Beach for many years. She also was the office manager for the publishing company The House of White Birches before retiring.

Alice leaves two daughters and two sons. Susan and husband Richard Warren of EPworth, GA, Karen and husband Ray Slaugenhoup of Kittery, ME, Steven Jankauskas and wife Linda Lee of Greenland, NH and Jason Jankauskas and wife Lisa of Winner, SD. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Cory Collogan, Aimee Warren, Abbey and her husband Jeremy LaRose, Robert Slagenhoup, Jodi Lee and Steven Jankauskas, Jr., and Elizabeth and Katherine Jankauskas. She also leaves two precious great grandchildren, Jared LaRose and Kyra Anne Warren. She is survived by one brother Peter Galipeau of Litchfield. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph and a brother Paul.

Alice enjoyed needlework, puzzles and was an avid reader. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

At her request, there will be no services, however, donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
