Alice Marie Underwood Addington

Mrs. Alice Marie Underwood Addington, age 88, of Morganton, passed away Thursday morning, October 13, 2022, at Pruitt Health Care in Blue Ridge. She was born October 12, 1934, in Fannin County to the late Prince Underwood and Rady Woody Underwood.
She was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed reading, flower gardens, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Dilmus Addington, and siblings Dorson Underwood, Geneva Cruse, Stella Waters, Joe Hyrman, Evan Underwood, and Etheridge Underwood.

Survivors include children Donna Stinnett, Danny Addington, David (Brenda) Addington, and Douglas (Fayrene) Addington; sister-in-law Ellen Underwood; seven grandchildren, Eddie Stinnett, Tony Addington, Joe Addington, Vanessa Addington, Amanda Towe, Ben Addington, and Kelsey Ledford; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Colt, Bridgett, Channing, Keaton, Karder, Korben, Kennah, Kaelynn, Kabel, Kota, Daegan, Abby, Azalee, Scarlett, Kylah and Tobias.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jason Towe officiating. Music will be by Korben Towe and Josh Ledford. Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
The following grandchildren will serve as pallbearers, Keaton Towe, Karter Towe, Korben Towe, Daegan Addington, and Ben Addington.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge Sunday from 6pm to 9PM.
