Alexander "Alex" Cary Rivera

Alexander Cary Rivera, age 21 of Blue Ridge formerly of Vermont, passed away July 6, 2016 at his home. Alex was born June 30, 1995 in Dallas, TX to Leonard Rivera and Susan Capozza Rivera. He attended the Faith Presbyterian Church in Blue Ridge and enjoyed training and spending time with horses and animals. Alex worked as a CNA in Blue Ridge at the Pruitt Nursing Home.

Survivors include mother and her boyfriend, Susan Rivera and Wayne Grube, father, Leonard Rivera, maternal grandparents, Janice Cary with friend, Fleming Currin, Frank and Ann Capozza, paternal grandparents, Miguel and Constanza Rivera, sister, Nicole Rivera, his beloved horses, Tradition and Dakota, and his dog, Buster. Also surviving are numerous relatives and friends in Blue Ridge and in Vermont.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Pastor Julie Hagee officiating. Music provided by Kathy Cardwell.
