Alan Paul Monteleone, 59 years old of Cherrylog, GA, died Thursday, August 13, 2009.
Alan is survived by his wife, Susan Shaver Monteleone of Cherry Log, his brother, Robert Monteleone of New Jersey, 2 sons, David & his wife Stacey Monteleone of Birmingham, AL, & Jay and his wife Kim Monteleone of Suwanee, GA and 4 grandchildren; Sofia, Bella, Tyler & Carly. He was preceded in death by parents, Paul & Genevieve Moteleone.
Alan was an Alumnus of Florida Atlantic University. He retired in 2008 as Vice President of Belk Department Stores in Birmingham, AL. He and his wife enjoyed their mountain cabin in Cherry Log, Ga. since 1998. He was the Co-chairman of the Cornerstone Project for the theater in Blue Ridge, Ga.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00am Monday, August 17, 2009 at the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church with the Dr. John Brantley officiating. Contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Community Theater. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Henry Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA. friends may send condolences and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes
