Mr. Al Mohr, age 81 of Sky Valley, GA, passed away Thursday, September 13,
2007 at his home. Mr. Mohr was born Tuesday, July 27, 1926 in Germany. He
moved to the United States in 1952 and worked as a Mechanical Engineer with
the Corps of Engineers for 30 years before retiring to Sky Valley in 1984.
Mr. Mohr's hobby was the art of Blacksmithing, specializing in decorative
ironwork. Survivors include: wife, Renee Mohr of Sky Valley, GA, son and
daughter-in-law, Bill and Teri Mohr of Atlanta, GA, son, Jeffrey Mohr of
Tampa, FL, brother, Helmut Mohr of Darmstadt, Germany, stepchildren Chantal
Wludyka and David Campsolinas, grandchildren, Amy and Michael Mohr and
stepgrandchild Jon Wludyka. A Unitarian Universalist Memorial Service will
be held Saturday, October 6, 2007 from the St. James Episcopal Church in
Clayton, the time of the service to be announced later. The Cochran Funeral
Home of Hiawassee, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
