It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Aaron Proulx, a cherished son, brother, and friend. Born on October 30, 1992, Aaron departed from this world too soon on November 16, 2024. His spirited laughter, love for adventure, and kind heart will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate to share life with him.
Aaron is survived by his mother, Marcy & Rod House; his father, Jim Proulx; sister, Amanda & Cody Lake; and his brother, Anthony Proulx. His memory will live on through his nephews, Lucas Doan and Ellis Martinez; and his nieces, Dakota and Cheyenne Lake. He was the cherished grandson of Sam & Linda Proulx, and Al Nechvil. His uncles, Bob Proulx, Erik Proulx & Erik Hopkins, aunts, Melissa Raso, Mary Morgan, and Nikki Morgan, and many cousins, also survive him. He was predeceased by grandparents, Joe Hall, Flora & Tom Mulvahill, Arlene & Arnold DeKett, and Irene & Delbert Proulx; and his aunt, Fran Mulvahill.
Remembering Aaron's life, we recall his love for Mexican, seafood, and sushi dishes and his inclination towards Red Bull. His spirited personality was reflected in his taste of music, from Pop Evil to Alternative rock, country, and classic rock. He was most relaxed while hiking and being at the lake, goofing around, making people laugh, and simply helping others. In his quiet time, Aaron found enjoyment in the pages of Harry Potter and the narratives of TV shows like The Office and Adventure Time and games like Fallout and Zelda. He had a zest for life that was truly contagious.
In 2002, Aaron learned the joy of life in Ithaca, MI, where he found lifelong friends, Corey & Emily Seeley, Josh Crosley & Bethany Zamora, Nikodemus Krupke and Hailey Hunt, among many, many other friends. Later, in 2019, he moved to the scenic Tellico Plains, TN.His fondness for the mountains and the outdoors mirrored his love for adventures and his vibrant spirit.
Aaron finally found his passion in landscaping with Blue Bird Landscaping, where he found not only friends but an extended family. He grew very close to Joey Cichetti (owner of Blue Bird Landscaping) and his girlfriend, Ramsey Roop, the landscaping crew and Pam Cichetti.
